The most anticipated yet one-sided match between India and Pakistan saw India defeating Pakistan by 7 wickets in Dubai. Unlike a typical rivalry match, this game carried heavy emotions, with the general audience boycotting it.. However, due to the high stakes involved, the BCCI and the Indian team proceeded with the match and dedicated the win to the victims of the Pahalgam attack and the Indian armed forces.

Salman Agha, who won the toss, chose to bat first on a surface where no team had successfully defended a total since 2018. However, Pakistan’s brave decision only held up until the toss, as they lost two quick wickets courtesy of Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah.

In response, Indian opener Abhishek Sharma gave India a flying start before getting dismissed. The run rate slowed in the middle overs, but a match-winning partnership between skipper Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma ensured a comfortable chase, completed in just 15 overs.
