Spotted in the stands at Mullanpur’s Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, Mahvash was all energy, cheering loudly as the Kings from Punjab and Chennai battled it out.Â
Her lively presence, captured in a viral Instagram story captioned “Go Punjab! You win or you loose you stars doesn’t matter. Go team!” has set social media alight, reigniting rumors of a budding romance with PBKS spinner Yuzvendra Chahal.

The speculation is not new. Mahvash and Chahal have been linked before with fans pointing to their joint appearance at the Champions Trophy 2025 final in Dubai as evidence of something more. Dressed in a simple white top, Mahvash’s enthusiasm for PBKS, where Chahal is a key player following his INR 18 crore move in the auction, has only added fuel to the fire.Â
In the match against CSK, Chahal bowled only one over and gave away nine runs.
The timing adds extra spice to the story. Chahal’s divorce from choreographer Dhanashree Verma was finalized on March 20, 2025, thrusting his personal life into the IPL spotlight just as the season kicked off.

RJ Mahvash Claims She is SingleÂ
Though Mahvash brushed off the relationship chatter in a recent podcast, insisting she is very much single, her support for Chahal’s team has fans connecting the dots.Â
"I am very much single, and I don't understand the concept of marriage in today's time. I am someone who would date only when I have to marry. I don't go on casual dates because I will only date someone I want to get married to. I am that person, like in the film Dhoom, who sees his wife and kids behind the bike," Mahvash said as quoted in an interview with Yuvaa.
In a big revelation, she talked about her engagement at the age of 19 which was ultimately called off two years later.
"I was engaged at the age of 19, and I called it off at the age of 21. Growing up in a small town like Aligarh, our only conditioning was that we needed to find a good husband and get married. That used to be our goal," she added.
