Shubman Gill-led India attended a unique charity gala hosted by former cricketer Yuvraj Singh to support his 'YouWeCan' foundation. The southpaw hosted this event to raise cancer awareness. Apart from the Indian team, the event was also graced by legendary cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, Brain Lara, Chirs Gayle, and Kevin Pietersen.
Yuvraj, a cancer survivor himself, launched 'YouWeCan' a few years ago to help people be more educated about cancer awareness and help them understand how to fight with disease and emerge stronger. Through his foundation, the southpaw provides financial aid for cancer survivors and also provides educational scholarships for young cancer patients through social reform programs.

Yuvraj hosted an annual charity gala for his foundation in London. The event was a star-studded affair as a lot of present and former cricketers graced the event. Alongside side Indian team, the coaching staff led by head coach Gautam Gambhir also attended the charity event. India team attended the event in their kits.

In the same event, Yuvraj also appreciated young skipper Shubman Gill for his stupendous achievements during the second Edgbaston Test, in which he scored a record-breaking 430 runs and also became the first Asian captain to win a Test at Edgbaston.

"I'm very proud of Shubman Gill, and I'm sure that his father will also be very proud. I'm very impressed with the way Gill led and batted. I hope that he goes on to make a lot of centuries in international cricket," Yuvraj told ANI.
