However, sometimes, this obsession by the crazy fans can turn out to be a nightmarish experience. Recently, Australia & Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) opener Travis Head was seen politely refusing a selfie with a fan, which has gone viral and has divided the internet about the personal space and privacy of celebrities.
In the video, Head can be spotted casually shopping in the supermarket in Hyderabad during the 18th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2025) season. The southpaw was also seen quite relaxed and enjoying his grocery shopping before a group of fans gathered and continuously heckled him for selfie requests.
Despite the SRH opener politely turning down requests multiple times with a firm 'no,' the fans were not ready to budge and kept persisting with him for a photo. However, soon the fans excitement turned into frustration as they described Travis Head's denial of the photo as 'attitude.'

"He is showing too much attitude," one of the men can be heard saying in the video, which has gone viral across social media platforms like X and Instagram.

Head's grocery shopping viral video has drawn mixed reviews on social media. While some of the fans were in support of the SRH opener, others felt he was being unnecessarily rude to his loyal fans in Hyderabad. One of the fans who was in support of the southpaw tweeted, "SRH fans harassing Travis Head for selfies. Fans should understand that it's players choice to deny requests if they are not comfortable."

This is not the first time a celebrity has had a terrible experience in India with fans regarding selfie requests and autographs. Fans often forget that celebrities are also mere humans, and they deserve to be given privacy off the field.
